I recall a time when we as a guild decided that if one could not devote themselves to our guild then perhaps they did not have what it took to stay in our guild..... Yet we allow our guild to dwindle and die as the few people that are active spend most if not all of there time with other guilds and do nothing to help keep our guild alive.
Saddly RoR has become a guild... I no longer feel the family, I once knew, still breaths..
Perhaps it is just me. Perhaps I have changed. Or perhaps I am just of an old frame of mind and feel that a family should be commited to and put first rather than if the other guild I am part of isn't doing something I will take the time to pop in and see if anyone is around.
Draco- As always you will be my brother.
Grey- I love you like the sister I always wanted.
Vega... What can I say You are my polar opposite. We love to debate and I count you a great and dear friend.
Crissede- With a gleam in my heart you will always be with me. You are a very special lady and hopefully you will find the happiness you so deserve.
I have been tied up as of late moving and opening a new store as you all know and it has given me time to think. Time to contemplate what I want from my time in RoR and UO and saddly it has not lived up to my expectation for some time now. I am uncertain if I will remain in the lands and if I do what I will do with my time there but of one thing I am certain. I must have a change. Or Taylor will die in the lands of Sosaria......
IF I remain in RoR as a chosen leader a few things must change. Of this I am certain.
1. We become a united guild consisting of dedicated members with no other guildly obligations.
2. We become active as a group.
Regualr meetings the like.
3. We go back to our guiding values which include respect for eachother and allow none to insult any member of our family. As in days if old even if it is one of us trying to insult another. As my Mom used to say you are both being punished for hitting eachother but the one that hit first gets the worst of it.
If any do not agree with this than my feelings are confirmed it is time for me to move on.
And for clarification I have no problem with sub guilds created for EL or the like but people joining other regular guilds because RoR is not active enough to please them is a crock of SHIT and is a crappy excuse to say I would rather let someone else do all the work and I just want to tag along to reap the rewards. The last hunt that I hosted that had 6 RoR members attend only 2 of those members wore the RoR badge the rest wore colors of other guilds.... 2 out of 6 willing to wear the badge we all fought so hard to keep alive.... It made me angry and at the same time it made me very sad........
Well I'll shut up now as I have probably just angered a few people but at this point I don't care.....
