The Lord Vailen strides with confidence into the Chateau De Grimswind.
"Pixie come forth" his rich voice rings throughout the walls.
Desending slowly down the stairs into the main foyer a cloaked figure appears before him.
"Ye called milord"
Hidden under the dark of cloth and the shield of hood, Lady Pixie Dust stands quietly.
"Aye Milady. I've come before thee with a means to help thee back to the path of righteousness. Tis a quest! A quest I will present to the Rangers of Realm
to help remind thee of thy virtues. They shall guide thee on this sacred journey. And ye shall once again see the good ways of the virtues before ye............"

"let us ride forth together"
These words rang out in my head and heart repeatedly as we approached the Pass Karanaugh.
With fear and anticipation the Rangers gathered at the base of the pass. Dawning shields and weapons, adjusting armor, preparing aids.
Our destination twas the shrine of Compassion safely on the other side of the Pass.
We approached the center cautiously. The sound of the dead crying from above our heads.
Entering the dark cold rooms of Karanaugh, the warriors cry to battle was resounding from the walls.
Many horrific beast coming at us from every corner. We fought our way gallantly to the back, nearing the staircase.
Twas then, as I climbed the stairs, I could feel the meanest beast pulling and pushing against me.
The lag monster had came upon us again, to further challenge us at the worst of times.
Yet we pushed on. The smell of the rotten corpse was overwhelming, as a poison elemental stirred the air near me.
"Ride" I called to my fellow comrades, praying in my heart my voice would be heard above the screaming and wailing of the beast attacking us.
We neared their odd maze of hallways and found ourselves trapped ! From both entrances the laughter of the Lich Lords could be heard. Trying to heal another, I found that even my strongest of potions was not enough to cure the disease the rotten corpse inflicted upon us. Gallantly the true Paladins of the group had this ability. But we were losing comrades! I quickly hid myself to take note of the situation surrounding me. So many grey clothed robes surrounded me, begging for life again. But how? So many Liches laughing in my ears.....Unable to concentrate and regain my abilities faster, I slowly attempted to chanter the needed words to bring life back to a few nearest to me. Only to watch them fall again as I simply could not heal and hide them fast enough.
After much time, felt like days, of trying to summon all my strength and knowledge of the magical realm, I bid to all to retreat. We must regroup outside of these walls, so that we could assess our situation better. I watched as so many continued to ride and fall, fall and ride. Perhapst the mana pull of the Lich Lords had temporarily confused my friends? I need resources. I needed silence to concentrate. I needed to get outside of these walls !! I took a deep breath, my heart twas pounding in my chest. I came out from under the cloak of invisiblity and ran for the stair way down.
I felt the seering heat as a blood elemental reached out to grab at my back. I heard the cackle of a nearby Lich as he watched my flaying attempts. But I ran. I made it through their grossly feasting area. Where the bugs crawled in and around their food gathered on the tables. As my lifes blood was pouring out of me, i knew that to stop would be my sudden end. I just needed to make it down the stairs !
Then the smell of the poisonous gases enveloped me. I held my breath. Stumbling, racing blindly and now the pressure of needing air burning in my lungs. I managed to call upon one last spell a of invisibility. As a Elder Gazer pentrated my cloak invisibility, I passed into darkness.......
